Each
Cabincom unit can resist a fully developed fire either
inside or outside the unit. Each unit will not only satisfy
the requirements for fire integrity, but also fire insulation,
in accordance with the performance criteria of BS476:
Part 22: 1987, thus providing the maximum fire safety
performance levels.
The internal linings and the insulating cores used in
these systems are non-combustible in accordance with BS476:
Part 4: 1970
The thermal insulation of each system will vary, depending on the
required fire performance. All systems will provide a thermal transmittance
(U value), of less than O.6W/M2K
Good sound insulation will be provided by each system. Please consult
Fireproof Sectional Buildings for the actual performance levels
that each system will provide. If necessary, upgrades can readily
be made to improve the performance.
